Upcoming Event: They Shall Run To And Fro To Hear God’s Word But Shall Not Find It

Do you believe that very soon people will be wandering from east and west, north and south to only hear God’s word but they will not find? Yeah the Lord saith that will happen very soon. People will wish to hear “repent, come out of her, come to Jesus, turn back to God” but they will not find, they will not hear.

This generation has really been privileged by God because Sodom and Gomorrah would have wished to see these things!!!

“Matthew 10:15 Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city. Matthew 11:23 And thou, Capernaum, which art exalted unto heaven, shalt be brought down to hell: for if the mighty works, which have been done in thee, had been done in Sodom, it would have remained until this day.

Matthew 11:24 But I say unto you, That it shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom in the day of judgment, than for thee.

Mark 6:11 And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear you, when ye depart thence, shake off the dust under your feet for a testimony against them. Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city.

Luke 10:12 But I say unto you, that it shall be more tolerable in that day for Sodom, than for that city.”

“Matthew 13:17 For verily I say unto you, That many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them.”

A day cometh when people will move through out the world to hear God’s voice but there won’t be any!!!

“Amos 8:11 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I WILL SEND a FAMINE in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of HEARING THE WORDS OF THE LORD:

8:12 And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east, they shall run to and fro to SEEK THE WORD OF THE LORD, AND SHALL NOT FIND IT.”

“Isaiah 55:6 Seek ye the LORD WHILE HE MAY BE FOUND, CALL YE UPON HIM WHILE HE IS NEAR: 55:7 Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.”

“Hebrews 3:7 Wherefore (as the Holy Ghost saith, TO DAY if ye will HEAR HIS VOICE, HARDEN NOT YOUR HEARTS, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness:”

“Revelation 18:21 And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all. 18:22 And the voice of harpers, and musicians, and of pipers, and trumpeters, shall be heard no more at all in thee; and no craftsman, of whatsoever craft he be, shall be found any more in thee; and the sound of a millstone shall be heard no more at all in thee;

18:23 And the LIGHT OF A CANDLE( Matthew 5:14-16, God’s People Are Light Of The World ) SHALL SHINE NO MORE AT ALL IN THEE; and the VOICE OF THE BRIDEGROOM( JESUS ) and of the BRIDE( HIS SERVANTS ) shall be HEARD NO MORE AT ALL IN THEE: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived. 18:24 And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth.”

“Matthew 25:29 For unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath. 25:30 And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”

“Revelation 20:14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.”

Where Do We Go When We Die?

Where Do We Go When We Die?

As many are aware, today we see the majority of religions, including some Christians denominations are proclaiming that prayers to the dead are acceptable and should be done often if the dead are in fact considered a saint. Most teach that when a person dies they go to a spirit world where they can be contacted by us in prayer, or by a psychic or spirit guide in a séance. Some also teach re-incarnation where the soul goes from one life to the next forever in the hopes of cultivating enough wisdom to become perfect and therefore eternal in nature. Then there are those that teach the spirit of the deceased can actually haunt people if the deceased had been wronged in some major way in their mortal life. And finally, some teach that dead saints are allowed to come back from heaven, physically appear unto us and warn us of mortal dangers if we don’t heed their Heavenly warnings and follow their advice. One of these denominations even go so far as to claim that the mother of Jesus Christ Himself appears from time to time to relay messages from heaven.
Before making a judgment about which church is correct, if any. Lets go to the Bible and see what the Bible has to say about where we go when we die. We’re going to the Bible because these are churches and religions we are investigating. If we were investigating something someone told us about how to properly tune an engine we would go to the mechanics manual of that particular engine to find out if what was being said or done was correct and acceptable for that engine type. These are churches we’re dealing with which claim to be teaching us what the Bible says about these topics, so lets see if they’re right.

Psalms 6:3-5 My soul is also sore vexed: but thou, O LORD, how long? Return, O LORD, deliver my soul: oh save me for thy mercies’ sake. For in death there is no remembrance of thee: in the grave who shall give thee thanks?

The Psalmist is praying for deliverance to arrive before death here because he knows he won’t have the ability to remember anything from the grave, nor can he give thanks from the grave.

Psalms 115:17 The dead praise not the LORD, neither any that go down into silence.Psalms 146:4 His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perishEcclesiastes 9:5,6  For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten. Also their love, and their hatred, and their envy, is now perished; neither have they any more a portion for ever in any thing that is done under the sun.

In Isaiah we see that king Hezekia was sick and Isaiah told him he was about to die. The king turned his face to the wall and prayed. In his prayer he says the following…

Isaiah 38:18-19, “For the grave cannot praise thee, death can not celebrate thee: they that go down into the pit cannot hope for thy truth. The living, the living, he shall praise thee, as I do this day: the father to the children shall make known thy truth.”

It appears rather plain here. The dead seem to be just that…DEAD! They can’t remember, they can’t thank anyone, they can’t praise God, they can’t think, they can’t even dream because the verse says, “his thoughts perish.” All their abilities have perished, “the dead know not any thing.” Notice the last verse shared where it said, “…neither have they any more a portion for ever in any thing that is done under the sun.”The Bible is stating that the dead can in no way take part in anything under the sun. The (RSV) Bible actually translates the above last verse like this. “…they have no more for ever any share in all that is done under the sun.” Pretty plain is it not?

If the Bible is saying the dead can’t affect anything that happens here on earth. Why are people still praying to these dead saints when the dead can’t hear them? Why do people still believe in hauntings, seances, apparitions etc??? They believe it because they never read in their Bibles the truth about these things. They just trusted their church leaders to tell them truthfully what the Bible says. So, who or what are these people seeing at these seances, hauntings and apparitions? Some churches believe that Mary the mother of Jesus is showing up in apparitions around the world. Many also believe that paintings or statues of Mary are actually bleeding real blood, or crying real tears. Does this mean Mary is not only alive and well, but now trapped inside statues made by men? How can this be? Does not the Word of God plainly state that the dead can in no way affect anything that happens here on this earth? If these apparitions aren’t Mary,  then who are they?

I’m sure you’re wondering. “Just where do we go when we die?” Don’t go running to get this answer from your preacher, teacher, friend, pastor, or priest. Just go back in the Bible to find out. It is were you should always go when you’re in question. However if you do at times have to go to a person for answers, always verify it in the Word of God before making any final decisions! Don’t trust me or any man! Go to God’s Word for the final answer and you will never go wrong.

So…where do we go when we die?

Psalms 13:3 Consider and hear me, O LORD my God: lighten mine eyes, lest I sleep the sleep of death;

The Bible refers to death as sleep. During this dreamless sleep, “his thoughts perish,” so, is it possible to affect the lives of others or carry on normal day to day activities in normal sleep? I think not. In the book of John we find a situation where Jesus Himself refers to the dead as being asleep.

John 11:11-14 …Our friend Lazarus sleepeth; but I go, that I may awake him out of sleep. Then said his disciples, Lord, if he sleep, he shall do well. Howbeit Jesus spake of his death: but they thought that he had spoken of taking of rest in sleep. Then said Jesus unto them plainly, Lazarus is dead.

The disciples thought when Jesus said Lazarus was sleeping that he would be ok. So Jesus had to plainly say “Lazarus is dead.” Before going on, I must interject as to the main reason Jesus calls death “sleep” here. It is because He knows that everyone will awaken one day out of death as we awaken each morning from sleep. Some will awaken to receive eternal life, and others will awaken to be destroyed in eternal damnation.

John 5:28-29, “Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,  And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.”

Getting back to Lazarus we discover that a few verses later we realize how long Lazarus would have been sleeping the sleep of death if Jesus had not raised him from the dead later on in verse 43.

John 11:23,24 Jesus saith unto her, Thy brother shall rise again.  Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day.

Martha, the sister of Lazarus understood the biblical truth about the state of the dead. She knew Lazarus wasn’t going to awaken until the last day when Jesus splits that eastern sky at His second coming. The book of Job also mentions the length of sleep for the dead.

Job 14:12 So man lieth down, and riseth not: till the heavens be no more, they shall not awake, nor be raised out of their sleep.

Notice the word till in that verse. This means the dead will not, or cannot awaken until the last day as Martha calls it in the previous verse shared.

My Favorite verse on this subject.... 1Corinthians 15:20-23    But now is Christ risen from the dead, [and] become the firstfruits of them that slept.   For since by man [came] death, by man [came] also the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ’s at his coming.

According to this verse, the dead in Christ will remain in their graves awaiting the order of resurrection. What is that order you ask? Jesus is the “firstfruits of them that slept” And then those that are believers in Jesus will “be made alive”. But when will they be made alive? According to the Bible, they will have to be made alive in the order that the Lord set up. Jesus, the “firstfruits” and then those that are His followers, “at His coming” …Rather blunt is it not?

Did you notice how David used the dead to illustrate how it is to be dead? He stated his enemies sought to make him feel as if he could do nothing like a person in the darkness of a dreamless sleep who has been dead for a long time. If people wen to Heaven directly at death as so many false teachers declare today, why is David saying this? And so one can see that yes, you will come across many Bible verses in the Old or New Testament areas of the Bible that confirm truth as the Lrod would have you know it. And yes, this is why the prophet Isaiah stated the following in Isaiah 28:9-10, “Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little:”

And so again, as you study the Word you will find all sorts of verses that back up the truth regarding the state of the dead because the Bible purposely speaks truth cover to cover in very many areas just as Isaiah stated long ago.

1 Thessalonians  4:13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.  4:14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.  4:15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.  4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:  4:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.  4:18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

How the Holy Spirit works in 7 ways

How the Holy Spirit works in 7 ways

Ephesians 4:30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

The Holy Spirit works many ways in our lives to bring us close to Jesus. Without this work the plan of salvation would be half complete. After the resurrection Jesus went back to Heaven and He promised to send the Holy Spirit to His people.

John 14:16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; 14:17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. 14:18 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.

In this study we’ve summarized the working of the Holy into 7 Ways according to Human understanding because God’s ways cannot be fathom by finite minds. Please also note this is not intending to describe the nature of the Holy Spirit but simply describing the work He does according to the Bible.

1) He convicts us of sin: You feel guilty when you do something wrong and this feeling will intensify until you seek forgiveness from God. This work is done by the Holy Spirit. The Spirit convicts sin and shows your need of a Savior.

The office of the Holy Spirit is distinctly specified in the words of Christ: “When He is come, He will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment.”John 16:8. It is the Holy Spirit thatconvicts of sin. If the sinner responds to the quickening influence of the Spirit, he will be brought to repentance and aroused to the importance of obeying the divine requirements. AA 52.2

To the repentant sinner, hungering and thirsting for righteousness, the Holy Spirit reveals the Lamb of God that taketh away the sin of the world.“He shall receive of Mine, and shall show it unto you,” Christ said. “He shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.”John 16:14; 14:26. AA 52.3

2) The Holy Spirit Is our Comforter: When we need strength to stand firm in our battles against evil, it is the Holy Spirit that gives us this strength to do what’s right. He comforts the heart with Jesus words and assures the believer of the certainty of His promises. It is the Holy Spirit that reminds you of Jesus words: “John 14:1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. 14:2 In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 14:3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.”

“When the Comforter is come,” He said, “whom I will send unto you fromthe Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, He shall testify of Me: and ye also shall bear witness, because ye have been with Me from the beginning.”John 15:26, 27. AA 22.1

3) He is the one that creates a new heart in a person. When King David was praying “Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. Psalms 51:10” He was calling forth the work of the Holy Spirit. He creates a clean heart and renew the spirit to make a person a new creature in Christ Jesus. “2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”

David had prayed, “Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.” And through Ezekiel the promise had been given, “A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. And I will put My Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in My statutes.” Isaiah 64:6; Psalm 51:10; Ezekiel 36:26, 27. DA 174.1

4) The Holy Spirit gives understanding to God’s Holy Word.
Without the Spirit of God man cannot understand the Holy Scriptures. It has to be interpreted by its own author. It was the Holy Spirit that inspired the servants of God to write the Bible. “2 Peter 1:20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. 1:21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.” Man should approach the Bible with prayers before they can understand it. The Spirit of God enlightening the mind will grant understanding to the reader. “James 1:5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.”

5) The Holy Spirit gives Hope for the future: When all hope is lost and men seem to see only darkness ahead, the Holy Spirit enlightens the mind and encourages the person to walk by faith and not by sight. The world filled with discouragements and disappointments leads many to think about ending their lives but if they would listen to the still small voice echoing in their minds telling them: “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Jeremiah 29:11” they would find hope when all seem lost. The Holy Spirit strengthens one’s faith and encourages Him to trust in God’s promises. He is still saying to you “Isaiah 26:4 Trust ye in the LORD for ever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength:”

6) The Holy Spirit makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered: We do not even know our greatest needs and do not know how to pray but the Holy Spirit helps us when we pray. “Romans 8:26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.” The Holy Spirit does a lot in our lives and His intercession with groanings on our behalf is sent to where our Redeemer is, Heaven.

7) The Holy Spirit seals us for redemption: “Ephesians 4:30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.” The work of the Holy Spirit is to convince the world of sin, of righteousness, and of judgment. The world can only be warned by seeing those who believe the truth sanctified through the truth, acting upon high and holy principles, showing in a high, elevated sense, the line of demarcation between those who keep the commandments of God and whose who trample them under their feet. The sanctification of the Spirit signalizes the difference between those who have the seal of God and those who keep a spurious rest day. 7BC 980.8

Romans 8:16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: 8:17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. 8:18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. 8:26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. 8:27 And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God. 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. 8:29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. 8:30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified. 8:31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? 8:32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? 8:33 Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God’s elect? It is God that justifieth. 8:34 Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us. 8:35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 8:36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. 8:37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. 8:38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 8:39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Many will be lost desiring to be Christians

Many will be lost desiring to be Christians

Matthew 22:14 For many are called, but few are chosen.

“Matthew 13:15 For this people’s heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.”

“Revelation 3:16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. 3:17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:”

Many will be lost while hoping and desiring to be Christians; but they made no earnest effort, therefore they will be weighed in the balances and found wanting. The will must be exercised in the right direction. I will be a wholehearted Christian. I will know the length and breadth, the height and depth, of perfect love. Listen to the words of Jesus: “Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.” Matthew 5:6. Ample provisions are made by Christ to satisfy the soul that hungers and thirsts for righteousness.274 CCh 185.5

Reach out for Higher Spiritual Attainments
The pure element of love will expand the soul for higher attainments, for increased knowledge of divine things, so that it will not be satisfied short of the fullness. Most professed Christians have no sense of the spiritual strength they might obtain were they as ambitious, zealous, and persevering to gain a knowledge of divine things as they are to obtain the paltry, perishable things of this life. The masses professing to be Christians have been satisfied to be spiritual dwarfs. They have no disposition to make it their object to seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness; hence godliness is a hidden mystery to them, they cannot understand it. They know not Christ by experimental knowledge. CCh 186.1

Let those men and women who are satisfied with their dwarfed, crippled condition in divine things be suddenly transported to heaven and for an instant witness the high, the holy state of perfection that ever abides there,—every soul filled with love; every countenance beaming with joy; enchanting music in melodious strains rising in honor of God and the Lamb; and ceaseless streams of light flowing upon the saints from the face of Him who sitteth upon the throne, and from the Lamb; and let them realize that there is higher and greater joy yet to experience, for the more they receive of the enjoyment of God, the more is their capacity increased to rise higher in eternal enjoyment, and thus continue to receive new and greater supplies from the ceaseless sources of glory and bliss inexpressible,—could such persons, I ask, mingle with the heavenly throng, participate in their songs, and endure the pure, exalted, transporting glory that emanates from God and the Lamb? Oh, no! their probation was lengthened for years that they might learn the language of heaven, that they might become “partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.” 2 Peter 1:4. But they had a selfish business of their own to engage the powers of their minds and the energies of their beings. They could not afford to serve God unreservedly and make this a business. Worldly enterprises must come first and take the best of their powers, and a transient thought is devoted to God. Are such to be transformed after the final decision: “He that is holy, let him be holy still,” “he which is filthy, let him be filthy still”? Such a time is coming. CCh 186.2

Those who have trained the mind to delight in spiritual exercises are the ones who can be translated and not be overwhelmed with the purity and transcendent glory of heaven. You may have a good knowledge of the arts, you may have an acquaintance with the sciences, you may excel in music and in penmanship, your manners may please your associates, but what have these things to do with a preparation for heaven? What have they to do to prepare you to stand before the tribunal of God?275 CCh 186.3

Sports: The Most Successful ‘Other god’ of the World

Sports: The Most Successful ‘Other god’ of the World

2 Corinthians 4:4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

Exodus 20:3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

In God’s ten commandments humans were warned not to have any other god beside the Creator but sadly the world did not heed God’s voice. Having other gods simply means using all your time, attention, whole heart to devote to something other than God.

People worship their wardrobes full of cloths, others worship video games, T.V Shows, friends, pastors, teachers, ministers, and the list goes on…

Among all these, sports have emerged predominantly above all the rest and its worshipers are professed Christians.

Most Christians worship sports instead of Jesus Christ. The time and attention they give to sports is no match for the time they give to Jesus.

How is it so? Statistics show that over 54 Billion US Dollars is spent on sports annually in the United States alone.

Also the sports betting and lottery market size worldwide was over 200 billion U.S. dollars in 2019

When you come to Sub-Saharan Africa many youths spend about 40 US Dollars a month on betting. Kenya has the highest number of youth who have participated in gambling or betting in the past at 76% followed by Uganda at 57%. Ghana has the least number at 42%.
Source

Today we have Christians especially the young men who spent the whole day at soccer centers watching soccer and making predictions.
Money is wasted on sports betting everyday.

Those who invented these sports betting knew that people worship sports vehemently and they planned to tap into this opportunity and unfortunately majority of Christians have been caught in this snare.

Let’s lay the matter straight: Anything that prevents you from seeking your own salvation is very dangerous and Satanic.

The devil invented sports some centuries ago and its mission was to entertain and divert the people mind from real life issues.

Today sports serve the same purpose and has even become more intensed that people leave Church to attend sport events!

While people are engrossed in “who’s the GOAT of football” debate the devil is working hard behind the scenes to make sure no one leaves his net of deception until probation closes and it’ll be too late.

Why fall for this snare? I’m not saying never set your eyes on television or watch sports but don’t be fooled by the devil. Instead of wasting time on sports fixtures and predictions turn off your TV and read your Bible for your life depends on it not sports.

Today many get their hearts broken not because of relationship stress but football! How sad. Football has now become the life partner of many people. They marry sports, they spend on sports, they worship football icons and don’t care about their own souls.

The devil does not care who wins the league or who doesn’t because he controls all these but what he hates is you trying to break free from these shackles.

The coming of Jesus will be a great surprise to the world and people will cry to the mountains saying “Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb” Revelation 6:16

Because they never spent time to get prepared they devoted all their time for sports and wasted all their monies on betting.

Do you want to get out of this snare? Maybe you didn’t know this is a great tool of Satan to lead people to perdition but now you know so God require you to take action, He won’t force you though.
Acts 17:30 And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent: 31 Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.

Pray to God for strength so that you can overcome sports addiction and use your precious time to glorify the God of heaven and not the god of this world.

God help you overcome all the snares of Satan and always remember the choices you are making here on earth WILL DECIDE WHERE YOU’LL SPEND ETERNITY!

1 John 2:15 LOVE NOT THE WORLD, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. 17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

2 Corinthians 6:17 WHEREFORE COME OUT FROM AMONG THEM, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, 18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

I entreat the students in our schools to be sober minded. The frivolity of the young is not pleasing to God. Their sports and games open the door to a flood of temptations.–Sp. Test. {PH048 20.5}
Revelation 14:4: These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth.

Amusements.

 There are persons with a diseased imagination to whom religion is a tyrant, ruling them as with a rod of iron. Such are constantly mourning over their depravity, and groaning over supposed evil. Love does not exist in their hearts; a frown is ever upon their countenances. They are chilled with the innocent laugh from the youth or from any one. They consider all recreation or amusement a sin, and think that the mind must be constantly wrought up to just such a stern, severe pitch. This is one extreme. Others think that the mind must be ever on the stretch to invent new amusements and diversions in order to gain health. They learn to depend on excitement, and are uneasy without it. Such are not true Christians. They go to the other extreme. The true principles of Christianity open before all a source of happiness, the height and depth, the length and breadth, of which are immeasurable. It is Christ in us a well of water springing up into everlasting life. It is a continual well-spring from which the Christian can drink at will, and never exhaust the fountain.--Test., Vol. 1, p. 565. {PH048 13.1} 1 Chronicles 16:10, 27, 31: Glory ye in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek the Lord. . . . Glory and honor are in his presence; strength and gladness are in his place. . . . Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice: and let men say among the nations, The Lord reigneth. {PH048 13.2} They can find that amusement which springs from principle, and which will yield them true happiness, and their time will not be spent in trifling or in selfish indulgence.--Test., Vol. III, p. 223.{PH048 13.3} Psalms 118:15: The voice of rejoicing and salvation is in the tabernacles of the righteous: the right hand of the Lord doeth valiantly. {PH048 14.1} We cannot innocently indulge in any amusement that will unfit us for the more faithful discharge of ordinary life duties.--Test., Vol. II, p. 587. {PH048 14.2} James 1:22, 26: But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. . . . If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain. {PH048 14.3} Many gatherings have been presented to me. I have seen the gaiety, the display in dress, the personal adornment. All want to be thought brilliant, and give themselves up to hilarity, foolish jesting, cheap, coarse flattery, and uproarious laughter. The eyes sparkle, the cheek is flushed, conscience sleeps. With eating and drinking and merry-making they do their best to forget God. The scene of pleasure is their paradise. And Heaven is looking on, seeing and hearing all. . . . {PH048 14.4} The once earnest Christian who enters into these sports is on the down-grade. He has left the region pervaded by the vital atmosphere of heaven, and has plunged into an atmosphere of mist and fog. It may be some humble believer is induced to join in these sports. But if he maintains his connection with Christ, he cannot in heart participate in the exciting scene. . . . {PH048 14.5} Young men and young women who have tried to be Bible Christians are persuaded to join the party, and they are drawn into the ring. They did not prayerfully consult the divine standard, to learn what Christ had said in regard to the fruit to be borne on the Christian tree. They do not discern that these entertainment are really Satan's banquet, prepared to keep souls from accepting the call to the marriage supper of the Lamb; they prevent them from receiving the white robe of character which is the righteousness of Christ. They become confused as to what it is right for them as Christians to do. They do not want to be thought singular, and naturally incline to follow the example of others. Thus they come under the influence of those who have never had the divine touch on heart or mind. {PH048 14.6} In these exciting gatherings, carried away by the glamour and passion of human influence, youth that have been carefully instructed to obey the law of God are led to form attachments for those whose education has been a mistake, and whose religious experience has been a fraud. They sell themselves to life-long bondage. As long as they live, they must be hampered by their union with a cheap, superficial character, one who lives for display, but who has not the precious inward adorning, the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which in the sight of God is of great price.--Sp. Test. {PH048 15.1} The low, common pleasure parties, gatherings for eating and drinking, singing, and playing on instruments of music, are inspired by a spirit that is from beneath. They are an oblation unto Satan.--Sp. Test. {PH048 15.2} Job 1:4: And his sons went and feasted in their houses, every one his day; and sent and called for their three sisters to eat and to drink with them. {PH048 15.3} Like Israel of old, the pleasure lovers eat and drink, and rise up to play. There is mirth and carousing, hilarity and glee. In all this the youth follow the example of the authors of books that are placed in their hands for study. The greatest evil of it all is the permanent effect these things have upon the character. {PH048 15.4} Those who take the lead in these things bring upon the cause a stain not easily effaced. They wound their own souls, and will carry the scars through their lifetime.--Sp. Test. on Ed., p. 211. {PH048 16.1} Exodus 32:6: And they rose up early on the morrow, and offered burnt offerings, and brought peace offerings; and the people sat down to eat and to drink, and rose up to play. {PH048 16.2} We are not to imitate the churches by instituting bazaars and various God-forbidden expedients to bring in a little means. We see no direction in the word for fancy fairs, concerts, and other objectionable practises for raising funds to advance His work. The curse of God is upon all this kind of work. It is polluting and degrading the work of God, defiling his holy temple.-- Unpub. Test. {PH048 16.3} John 2:14-16: Jesus went up to Jerusalem, and found in the temple those that sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the changers of money sitting: and when he had made a scourge of small cords, he drove them all out of the temple, and the sheep, and the oxen; and poured out the changers' money, and overthrew the tables; and said unto them that sold doves, Take these things hence; make not my Father's house an house of merchandise. {PH048 16.4} If you truly belong to Christ, you will have opportunities for witnessing for him. You will be invited to attend places of amusement, and then it will be that you will have an opportunity to testify for your Lord. If you are true to Christ then, you will not try to frame excuses for your non-attendance, but will plainly and modestly declare that you are a child of God, and your principles would not allow you to be in a place, even for one occasion, where you could not invite the presence of your Lord.--Y. I., May 4, 1893. {PH048 16.5}

I entreat the students in our schools to be sober minded. The frivolity of the young is not pleasing to God. Their sports and games open the door to a flood of temptations.–Sp. Test. {PH048 20.5}
Revelation 14:4: These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth.

If God requires us to go amid infernal spirits, where is the blackest darkness, in order to do good and glorify his name, he will encircle us with his angels and keep us unsullied. But if we seek the company of sinners, and are pleased with their coarse jests, and are entertained and amused with their stories, sports, and ribaldry, the pure and holy angels remove their protection, and leave us to the darkness we have chosen. {PH099 10.2}

I could refer to chapter after chapter of the Old Testament Scriptures that contain precious encouragement. These Scriptures are a treasure house of precious pearls, and you all need them. How much time is spent by intelligent human beings in horse racing, cricket matches, and ball playing! But will indulgence in these sports give men a desire to know truth and righteousness? Will it keep God in their thoughts? Will it lead them to inquire, How is it with my soul? {13MR 264.1}

 All the powers of Satan are set in operation to hold the attention to frivolous amusements, and he is gaining his object. He is interposing his devisings between God and the soul. God calls men to look upon the heavens. "Lift up your eyes on high," He says, "and behold who hath created these things, that bringeth out their host by number: He calleth them all by names by the greatness of His might" [Isaiah 40:26]. We are not merely to gaze upon the heavens; we are to consider the works of God. He would have us study the works of infinity, and from this study learn to love and reverence and obey Him. The heavens and the earth with their treasures are to teach the lessons of God's love, care, and power. {13MR 264.2} Satan will manufacture his diversions that men may not think about God. The world, filled with sport and pleasure-loving, is always thirsting for some new interests. And how little time and thought are given to the Creator of the heavens and the earth. God calls upon His creatures to turn their attention from the confusion and perplexity around them, and admire His handiwork. The heavenly bodies are worthy of contemplation. God has made them for the benefit of man, and as we study His works, angels of God will be by our side to enlighten our minds and guard them from satanic deception. As you look at the wonderful things God's hand has made, let your proud, foolish heart feel its dependence and inferiority. As you consider these things, you will have a sense of God's condescension. [Psalms 147:2; Isaiah 45:22-24, quoted.] {13MR 265.1} How terrible it is when the acknowledgment of God is not made when it should be made! How sad to humble one's self when it is too late! Why, oh, why, do not men heed the invitation? The psalmist said, "When Thou saidst, Seek ye My face, my heart said unto Thee, Thy face, Lord, will I seek" [Psalms 27:8]. The whole of this psalm is excellent, and should be placed in the reading and spelling lessons of the classes. The twenty-eighth, twenty-ninth, and seventy-eighth psalms tell of the rich blessing bestowed by God upon His people, and of their poor returns for all His benefits. The eighty-first psalm explains why Israel was scattered. They forgot God, as the churches in our land are forgetting Him today. Read the eighty-ninth, ninetieth, ninety-first, ninety-second, and ninety-third psalms. My attention has been called to these matters. Shall we not consider the Word of the Lord? These things were written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come, and should they not be the objects of study in our schools? The Word of God contains instructive lessons, given in reproof, in warning, in encouragement, and in rich promises. Would not such food as this be meat in due season to the youth? {13MR 265.2} In an assembly where the school question was being discussed, the question was asked, Why has not appropriate matter for reading and lesson books been selected and compiled? Why has not the Word of God been extolled above every human production? Have you thought that a better knowledge of what-saith-the-Lord would have a deleterious effect on teachers and students? There was a hush in the assembly, and self-conviction came upon students and teachers. Men who had considered themselves wise and strong saw that they were weak and lacking in the knowledge of that Book which concerns the eternal destiny of the human soul. {13MR 266.1}

The pursuit of pleasure and amusement centers in the cities. Many parents who choose a city home for their children, thinking to give them greater advantages, meet with disappointment, and too late repent their terrible mistake. The cities of today are fast becoming like Sodom and Gomorrah. The many holidays encourage idleness. The exciting sports—theatergoing, horse racing, gambling, liquor-drinking, and reveling—stimulate every passion to intense activity. The youth are swept away by the popular current. Those who learn to love amusement for its own sake open the door to a flood of temptations. They give themselves up to social gaiety and thoughtless mirth, and their intercourse with pleasure lovers has an intoxicating effect upon the mind. They are led on from one form of dissipation to another, until they lose both the desire and the capacity for a life of usefulness. Their religious aspirations are chilled; their spiritual life is darkened. All the nobler faculties of the soul, all that link man with the spiritual world, are debased. {CSA 23.1}

It is true that some may see their folly and repent. God may pardon them. But they have wounded their own souls, and brought upon themselves a lifelong peril. The power of discernment, which ought ever to be kept keen and sensitive to distinguish between right and wrong, is in a great measure destroyed. They are not quick to recognize the guiding voice of the Holy Spirit, or to discern the devices of Satan. Too often in time of danger they fall under temptation, and are led away from God. The end of their pleasure-loving life is ruin for this world and for the world to come. {CSA 23.2}

Cares, riches, pleasures, all are used by Satan in playing the game of life for the human soul. The warning is given, “Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.” 1 John 2:15, 16. He who reads the hearts of men as an open book says, “Take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting and drunkenness and cares of this life.” Luke 21:34. And the apostle Paul by the Holy Spirit writes, “They that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition. For the love of money is the root of all evil; which, while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.” 1 Timothy 6:9, 10. {CSA 23.3}

The Calamities of the World will be Blamed on NOT Observing Sunday Worship

The Calamities of the World will be Blamed on NOT Observing Sunday Worship

Revelation 13:8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

2 Corinthians 4:4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

For some years now there have been calls for a day of rest and its intensity increases as time goes on.

The Pope is the leading voice in this call for Sunday Sacredness and behind him is numerous voices from all backgrounds echoing the doctrines of the Vatican knowingly or unknowingly.

If you’ve heard about Greta Thurnberg you’ll know she’s the current youth leader and advocate of climate change.

The United Nations, United States, EU, AU, and all other unions are calling for urgent measures to combat climate change emergency.

But the Big question is what is hidden behind this big climate agenda?

Well we should know there’s only one man currently on earth that all world leaders even those in the gulf countries look up to when it comes to morality and finding solution for so called “Mother Earth” problems. This man is the Pope of Rome, and he secretly seek to control the whole world through the foot soldiers of the Catholic Church.

The Pope is the only man who the world leaders recognize as a religious leader and he is saying the world is facing all these Calamities (climate change issues) because men have not obeyed God.

The Pope’s Encyclical Laudato Si is what the world leaders have adopted as the solution to climate change–well the man of sin is still working hard to convince all the kings(leaders) of the world to accept his solution which is Sunday Sacredness.

Many ignorant people too have become Sunday law advocates and they urging the world to rest on Sunday and care for the environment.

Climate Change rallies and protests are being held worldwide demanding that world leaders MUST ACT NOW to save Mother Earth.

Gradually the Pope’s agenda is gaining grounds and as Calamities continue to happen it will continue to be attributed to not heeding the Pope’s climate change agenda which is Sunday Sacredness.

Pope Francis insists Sunday Sacredness will save our planet but if you study the Bible for yourself you’ll know that this world is ripe for destruction and beyond human power. Sin has destroyed our world and making Sunday sacred is even making things worse because the same sin is propagated.

Sunday is Not the Sabbath day it is a man made tradition and it can’t save our planet as the Pope is propagating.

It is only Jesus Christ who can save us from the destruction coming upon this planet. The planet can’t be saved it is bound for destruction because of sin but if you give your life to Jesus in truth and obey His ten commandments you’ll escape the coming doom. Read John 14:15, Revelation 14:12

The Pope and his counterparts( world leaders) are looking for all ways to escape the coming judgement except repentance. And seeking to save planet Earth assures them they’ll be safe but God’s word states it emphatically clear that only those who do the will of God will abide forever.

1 John 2:15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 2:16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. 2:17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: BUT HE THAT DOETH THE WILL OF GOD ABIDETH FOR EVER.

National Sunday law is coming soon get prepared in Jesus. All the calamites will be Blamed on those who will not agree to worship on Sunday, the world’s day of rest.

Arguments Used by Sunday-Law Advocates
Satan puts his interpretation upon events, and they think, as he would have them, that the calamities which fill the land are a result of Sundaybreaking. Thinking to appease the wrath of God these influential men make laws enforcing Sunday observance.—Manuscript Releases 10:239 (1899). LDE 129.4

This very class put forth the claim that the fast-spreading corruption is largely attributable to the desecration of the so-called “Christian sabbath” and that the enforcement of Sunday observance would greatly improve the morals of society. This claim is especially urged in America, where the doctrine of the true Sabbath has been most widely preached.—The Great Controversy, 587 (1911). LDE 129.5

Sunday-Law Advocates Do Not Realize What They Are Doing
The Sunday movement is now making its way in darkness. The leaders are concealing the true issue, and many who unite in the movement do not themselves see whither the undercurrent is tending…. They are working in blindness. They do not see that if a Protestant government sacrifices the principles that have made them a free, independent nation, and through legislation brings into the Constitution principles that will propagate papal falsehood and papal delusion, they are plunging into the Roman horrors of the Dark Ages.—The Review and Herald Extra, December 11, 1888. LDE 125.3

There are many, even of those engaged in this movement for Sunday enforcement, who are blinded to the results which will follow this action. They do not see that they are striking directly against religious liberty. There are many who have never understood the claims of the Bible Sabbath and the false foundation upon which the Sunday institution rests…. LDE 126.1

Those who are making an effort to change the Constitution and secure a law enforcing Sunday observance little realize what will be the result. A crisis is just upon us.—Testimonies for the Church 5:711, 753 (1889). LDE 126.2
